24th February 2012: Recruiting and Supporting Trustees  (Benchmarked at SCQF Level 6)

This course is suitable for anyone who has a role in the recruitment and support of Trustees to their Management Committee/Board.    Staff, volunteers or Trustees.

The course will provide:

  • Awareness of the role and legal responsibilities of Trustees
  • A range of techniques and ideas for recruiting Trustees
  • Increased knowledge of Networks available for potential recruitment
  • Awareness of the importance of good induction processes
  • Knowledge of ways to ensure ongoing support to Trustees
  • Knowledge of resources available for training and ongoing support
