Social Impact Measurement

12 April (10am to 4.30pm)  

The Social Impact Measurement programme gives an overview   of Social Accounting and Audit, Social Return on Investment, Demonstrating   Value and Social Evaluator to support organisations demonstrate their impact.

The fee for this workshop is £50. This workshop is   delivered by the Social Enterprise Academy.

Maintaining Your Community Asset

16 April (10am to 3pm)

The aim of this event is to help   community/third sector organisations identify the different ways they can   make their asset more sustainable.  Through information   sessions,  facilitated workshops and group discussion delegates   will have the opportunity to raise and discuss key issues facing them on   their journey to developing a sustainable community asset – helping them to   identify and implement practical solutions, build support networks, and   identify other sources of  information and advice.  This event   will be held at The GALE Centre in Gairloch, Wester Ross. The   venue itself is a thriving community asset and, as an introduction to this   event, Gairloch & Loch Ewe Action Forum will take delegates through their   journey towards opening the centre last year and the challenges they faced   along the way.

This programme is fully-funded through Just Enterprise,   meaning there is no fee for participants. This programme is delivered by HISEZ,   HIE and The Big Lottery

This business planning workshop will help you to review   your current strategy and begin to plan how you want to deliver your services   in the future.

This workshop will develop confidence and knowledge of   leadership and motivation for individuals developing a social enterprise,   either as a new business or as part of an existing one.

Sales and Marketing

30 April (11am to 1pm)  

This workshop focuses directly on how marketing generates   business and affects your cash flow in a positive way.

Cash Flow Planning

30 April (1.30pm to 3.30pm)  

This workshop will illustrate and explain the importance of   cash to your social enterprise as a way to grow and survive.

SCVO Spring Training Programme

Just Enterprise are pleased to announce details of a half day event they are running at location in central Inverness on Friday 26th April 2013.  This workshop is offered FREE of charge to members/employees of third sector/social economy organisations – details as follows:

If an organisation doesn’t know where it’s going then the chances are it will probably end up somewhere else. This business planning workshop will help you to review your current strategy and begin to plan how you want to deliver your services in the future. Covering the stages involved in developing a business plan, as well as the tools and techniques that can be used to gather and assess information, the session will be fully interactive allowing participants to share knowledge, experience and ideas.

Free Training & Fundraising Seminar – Elgin

Please find attached the leaflet for the ‘Making your case’ training workshop on 3rd April and Fundraising seminar on 4th April at Elgin Town Hall with all Lottery funders providing workshops and advice.  All events are free of charge, however the training event can only offer limited places and booking is essential.
